Edwards Living is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work at our upscale community in Orlando, FL. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in all areas ensuring that the physical aspects of the apartment community meet the established standards for safety, appearance, and operation. This position requires a willingness to deliver excellent customer service while providing a high-quality living environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to work orders and resident requests in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
- Responding to emergency calls during on-call periods.
- Participating in ongoing preventative maintenance and improvement.
- Performing painting, plumbing, electrical, and installation services.
- Performing/ Assisting with unit make ready process
- Maintain clean, attractive grounds and common areas for assigned zone
- Perform daily property walks and pick up debris for assigned zone
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience required, apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service.
- HVAC knowledge is a plus.
- Good communication skills.
- Displays a friendly and positive attitude.
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Live within 20 miles of the property for on-call rotation requirements.
