Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Paint Preparator and a Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle paint preparation, application, and finishing, ensuring vehicles leave the shop looking flawless.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting (sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning)
- Apply paint, clear coat, and other finishes according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Follow all safety and environmental regulations related to automotive painting
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of jobs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an automotive paint preparator/painter
- Knowledge of paint types, color matching, and finishing techniques
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
