Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of dental assisting, including chairside assisting, patient care, and administrative duties. This role is crucial in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality dental care in a comfortable and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in multi speacialty dentist procedures, including endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and pediatric , as needed.
- Prepare and restock operatories; maintain supply inventory
- Sterilize instruments and follow OSHA protocols
- Take X-rays and digital imaging
- Manage and track laboratory case logs.
- Provide excellent patient communication and chairside support
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience (required)
- NJ X-Ray License preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience in a fast-paced dental office
- Proficiency with dental software (Curve preferred)
