Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food handling and preparation to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback promptly
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Clear tables, bus tables, and reset dining areas quickly to maintain a smooth flow of service
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, adhering to sanitation regulations and food safety protocols
- Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations via OpenTable or similar platforms
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic, positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills for guest interactions and team collaboration
- Basic math skills for cashiering, check splitting, and handling cash transactions accurately
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
