Procurement Specialist – Engineering & Service Agreements
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $40.00 / hour (Level 1 or 2, based on experience & education)
Location: Tonopah, AZ 85354 (Local candidates only — no relocation or per diem)
Schedule: Hybrid (2 days remote, 2 days onsite)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support long-term engineering and service operations at a power generation plant in Tonopah, AZ. In this role, you will partner with project managers and engineering teams to draft, negotiate, and execute specialized service contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Master Service Agreements (MSAs). The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in service contract setup and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Draft, evaluate, and execute RFPs, SOWs, MSAs, and engineering service agreements.
- Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate commercial Terms & Conditions (T&Cs), pricing, and SLAs with technical consultants and service providers.
- Vendor & Supply Chain Operations: Manage vendor performance, resolve delivery issues, and maintain compliance with plant policies and budget targets.
- Systems Tracking: Utilize procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., MLIS, SAP, Maximo) to manage active contracts and track metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years in service procurement, contract administration, or supply chain support for engineering/capital projects.
- Contract Skills: Direct experience negotiating T&Cs, setting up service contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
- Industry Background: Experience in power generation, utilities, nuclear, EPC, or heavy industrial environments strongly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain ERP systems (MLIS, SAP, Maximo, or similar).
- Requirements: Excellent communication skills and business acumen. Must pass a comprehensive background check (Criminal, MVD, Education, Employment) and drug test.
