Duties
- Provide up close protection to VIP guests and event personnel throughout the gala event
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement appropriate security measures before and during the event
- Manage access control points, verifying identities and restricting unauthorized entry
- Respond swiftly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR
- Walk to ballroom floors and keep a low profile while providing protection and looking for any potential threats.
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed
- Enforce conflict management strategies to de-escalate tense situations discreetly and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in personal protection, law enforcement, military, or security roles with a focus on VIP protection
- Certified in first aid and CPR with the ability to respond promptly to medical emergencies
- Excellent conflict management skills with a calm, assertive demeanor under pressure
- Ability to remain vigilant for extended periods while maintaining professionalism and discretion
- Effective communication skills for liaising with law enforcement, emergency responders, and event staff
