Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation procedures throughout the service area to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions quickly and accurately (Union)
- Provide attentive customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
- Follow food safety management protocols to ensure all items are prepared and served safely and presentation is consistent
- Assist in setting up, breaking down, and cleaning the dining areas to uphold sanitation standards, completing opening duties, side work each shift, closing duties
Experience
- Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
- OLCC and Food Handlers Cards required
- Familiarity with POS systems enhances efficiency in order processing (Union)
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, food safety, and food safety management practices is highly valued
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail handle large volume of tables at once and always maintain cleanliness standards
