Duties
- Lead and supervise the café team, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, food items, and snacks according to company standards
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties accurately
- Oversee food safety protocols, proper food handling, and cleanliness to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and coordinate food preparation to meet customer demand
- Provide training, coaching, and support to team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills
- Drive sales through suggestive selling techniques while ensuring a positive café atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven barista experience with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and food service operations
- Experience with POS systems is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer needs professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a café or retail environment is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
