Insurance requires min 25 years of age and 4 years driving experience
Clean MVR- No tickets or accidents, Must be able to pass DOT physical
Defensive driving course a plus
Class C Non CDL with passenger endorsement
Responsibilities
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
- Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
- Ensure the cars are clean all riders
- Report any issues with the vehicle
- Must be physically able to load and off load passengers safely
- Class E Licenses holders welcome to apply but must be able to pass for a CDL C test.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Driver
- A valid driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
- Familiarity with GPS devices and tablets
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
- A polite and professional disposition to represent company without direct supervision
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
- Professional appearance, Appropriate dress and personal grooming.
