Emergency Room RN
Shift - Days/Eve/Nights + every other weekend
Contract - 13 weeks (possible extension)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform rapid patient assessments and triage to determine the severity of illness or injury
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and trauma-related conditions
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and response to treatment
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency treatments as ordered
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures including intubation, central line insertion, chest tube placement, and wound management
- Initiate and maintain IV access, collect laboratory specimens, and prepare patients for diagnostic testing
- Care for patients presenting with chest pain, stroke symptoms, sepsis, trauma, respiratory distress, fractures, altered mental status, and other emergent conditions
- Respond to Code Blue, Rapid Response, STEMI, Stroke Alert, and Trauma activations
- Operate and monitor specialty equipment including cardiac monitors, defibrillators, ventilators, infusion pumps, and oxygen delivery devices
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, EMS personnel, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,664.00 per week

Experience:
- ED with some PEDS: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- RN License from the State of NY (Required)
- AHA ACLS , BLS, PALS, NIHSS + TNCC Certifications (Required)
