Store Manager Trainee (entry-level sales)
Ortho Mattress, a Southern California based manufacturer and retailer, is seeking passionate and motivated sales associates. Founded in 1957, Ortho Mattress is now the largest, and fastest growing Southern California retailer with 40 stores and counting. This is an entry-level sales position, and we are willing to train those with a positive, nurturing attitude and great customer service skills; no sales experience required. The diverse work experiences of our new hires creates a proactive work and sales environment. Ortho’s interactive, all encompassing training program sets new hires up for immediate success. We find many of our applicants saying, “I don’t know anything at all about mattresses”. Rest assured more than 80% of our new hires have no experience in the industry and many have little to no sales experience at all.
Teachers and retired teachers are some of our best sales professionals. If you are able to educate customers, tend to their needs and guide them to the right fit, you will thrive in this customer service industry. Other successful sales associates came from the hospitality industry; servers, waiters/ waitresses and bartenders looking for opportunity in a new industry perform extremely well. Any previous customer service experience helps!
