Duties
- Perform professional dry nail care services such as manicures, dry pedicures, gel nails, and nail art with precision and creativity
- Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement clients’ skin tones and preferences
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly disinfecting tools and workstations to ensure client safety
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering expert advice, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Upsell additional services like facials or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
- Stay current with industry trends in nail art, color theory, and new techniques such as dermabrasion or hair extensions that can be integrated into services
- Communicate clearly with clients about procedures, aftercare instructions, and product recommendations for ongoing nail health
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized workspace aligned with sanitation protocols
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role with a strong portfolio of nail art and care techniques
- Familiarity with sanitation standards specific to nail salons and beauty clinics to ensure a safe environment for all clients
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively through excellent communication skills and understanding of customer needs
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships through positive interactions
