Operations & Inventory Analyst (Korean/English bilingual)
Shift Hour: 2PM – 11PM, Mon – Fri (2nd Shift)
Position Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations
- Lead daily warehouse operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and customer service objectives are achieved
- Conduct shift meetings and communicate operational goals, priorities, and performance expectations
- Supervise warehouse associates by providing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities
- Monitor employee attendance, workforce utilization, and staffing requirements while providing recommendations to leadership
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operational standards, and customer-specific requirements
- Identify training and cross-training opportunities to enhance workforce flexibility and performance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through process audits, quality checks, and operational problem-solving
- Act as a liaison between warehouse associates, customers, and leadership teams to ensure effective communication and execution
- Monitor warehouse equipment and material handling equipment (MHE) utilization, condition, and operational effectiveness
- Recommend equipment maintenance, replacement, and operational improvements to enhance safety, productivity, and operational efficiency
- Inventory & Performance Analysis
- Analyze inventory accuracy, stock movement trends, and warehouse utilization to identify improvement opportunities
- Monitor inventory discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions to minimize inventory adjustments
- Track and report operational KPIs including productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and labor efficiency
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory variances, operational delays, and service failures
- Process Optimization
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation of operational excellence initiatives
- Analyze workflow, space utilization, and labor allocation to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce operating costs
- Partner with Warehouse Manager to optimize inventory placement and warehouse processes
- Reporting & Planning
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel and warehouse management systems
- Support labor planning and staffing recommendations based on operational volume trends and productivity analysis
- Review customer requirements and operational data to identify risks and develop action plans
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or requisite experience
- 3+ years of warehouse operations, inventory control, or supervisory experience in a distribution environment
- Experience analyzing operational KPIs and inventory reports
- Skills in leadership, organization, communication and cross functional teamwork
- Emphasis on safety is extremely important
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Understanding of warehousing operations with experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with MHE
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions
- Bilingual in Korean / English
