This position is based in New York and the selected candidate will be expected to work onsite as of their effective start date.
Assistant Research Scientist will:
- Work on research on identifying how decision-making and behavioral flexibility differs across individuals, and how these arise from underlying neural processes
- Use machine learning and data analysis to characterize large-scale behavioral datasets from rodents trained on a decision-making task
- Help identify individual-specific behavioral strategies to link to the neural activity differences across those individuals
- Build standardized pipelines for the behavioral database and interpret the results under supervision
Approximately 10 hours per week
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is $25/hr. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
