Press Brake/Roller Operator

Geringhoff is seeking individuals for a day shift position to operate a Press Brake and roller to fabricate sheet steel, stainless and aluminum components using blueprints and work instructions.
Position Summary:
The Press Brake/Roller operator is responsible for fabricating sheet steel into components consumed in the welding department. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Amada Press Brake and Faccin Roller but not limited to only operator but also welding experience being a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
· Candidate must be punctual and reliable
· Establish and maintain a clean, safe and productive atmosphere living 5S principles
· Weld and fabricate steel components using fixturing, work instruction and blueprints
· Some limited computer use
· Working and communicating needs to the Head of Fabrication and Welding
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 1 year of fabrication experience in a shop setting operating a Press Brake or Roller
· Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
· Should have basic knowledge in operating fabrication-related equipment.
· Basic knowledge in blueprint reading
· Must be able to work in a team environment or independently
· Must be a self-motivated reliable individual
· Must be quality driven

Pay: $21.00 - $29.92 per hour
