Pohanka Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our growing service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engine systems and related components for Chevrolet & GM vehicles. You will work with state-of-the-art tools and diagnostic equipment in a clean, professional, and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel on Chevrolet vehicles.
- Perform diesel maintenance, including fluid changes, adjustments, and component replacement.
- Conduct thorough road tests to verify engine performance after repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and ensure proper functionality.
- Follow all safety and quality guidelines when performing services and repairs.
- Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Keep work area clean and organized, maintaining a safe and productive environment.
- Stay up-to-date with Chevrolet’s latest repair procedures and technical service bulletins.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Disel Technician or similar automotive technician role (preferably with Chevrolet or GM vehicles).
- ASE Certified Diesel Specialist (preferred) or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of diesel systems and repair processes.
- Ability to diagnose issues using specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical resources.
- Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal automotive training or certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, team-oriented, and commitment to customer service.
