World Tire Wholesale LLC is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Commercial & Passenger Tire Technician to join our team.
This is a hands-on position focused on passenger, light-truck, and commercial truck tire service, both in our shop and through mobile road service.
The ideal candidate has experience mounting, dismounting, repairing, rotating, balancing, and replacing tires and is comfortable working on commercial trucks, trailers, passenger vehicles, and fleet vehicles.
We are primarily looking for someone with strong tire-service skills, a good work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Mount, dismount, repair, rotate, balance, and replace passenger and light-truck tires
- Mount, dismount, repair, and replace commercial truck and trailer tires
- Perform commercial tire service for tractors, trailers, buses, fleets, and other commercial vehicles
- Perform tire inspections and identify worn, damaged, or unsafe tires
- Properly torque wheels and follow all tire-service safety procedures
- Perform tire repairs in accordance with industry safety standards
- Perform mobile road-service tire changes and repairs
- Respond to commercial fleet and emergency roadside tire-service calls
- Safely operate tire-changing machines, wheel balancers, jacks, impact guns, and other tire-service equipment
- Drive a company service vehicle to customer locations when performing mobile road service
- Load, unload, transport, and handle passenger and commercial truck tires
- Maintain accurate records of tires installed, repaired, and serviced
- Communicate professionally with customers, fleet operators, dispatchers, and coworkers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional commercial and passenger tire-service experience required
- Experience with tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotation, repair, and replacement
- Experience with mobile or roadside tire service is a strong plus
- Ability to safely operate commercial tire-changing and balancing equipment
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Valid and clean driver’s license required
- CDL is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy commercial truck tires
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions when performing road service
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Professional appearance and customer-service skills
- Must be safety-conscious and able to follow proper tire-service procedures
Candidates who have worked for commercial tire dealers, tire shops, trucking companies, fleet service companies, roadside service companies, or mobile tire-service operations are encouraged to apply.
