About Us
WaterWise Plumbing Services specializes in commercial plumbing, water conservation, and leak detection solutions for hotels, multifamily communities, and mobile home parks (MHPs). As our company continues to grow, we are expanding our underground leak detection division and are looking for an experienced professional who can accurately locate underground water leaks and coordinate or perform the necessary repairs.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can confidently arrive at a commercial property, assess the situation, identify the source of a hidden underground leak, and determine the best repair solution with minimal disruption to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Locate underground water leaks on commercial properties using professional leak detection equipment.
- Diagnose leaks on domestic water services, irrigation systems, and underground piping.
- Determine the most efficient repair method and complete repairs when required.
- Communicate findings clearly with customers and company management.
- Document leak locations, repair recommendations, and completed work.
- Travel to customer sites throughout the region or nationwide as needed.
- Maintain company-issued vehicle, leak detection equipment, and tools.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial underground leak detection experience preferred.
- Proven ability to independently locate underground water leaks.
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and underground water distribution.
- Experience using professional leak detection equipment, including acoustic listening devices, correlators, ground microphones, tracer gas systems, or other advanced leak detection technology.
- Ability to diagnose complex underground plumbing issues without unnecessary excavation.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

We are seeking someone who is confident in their ability to locate underground leaks with accuracy. If you need extensive training on leak detection, this position is likely not the right fit. We need an experienced specialist who can be dispatched to a commercial property, identify the source of the leak, explain the findings, and either perform or coordinate the repair.
