American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level 1 trauma center requiring 4 years of adult and pediatric ED experience.

Work in the Emergency Care Center of a large, high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
-
Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
-
3 shifts per week totaling 36 guaranteed hours weekly
-
13-week assignment length
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month

Block scheduling not approved for most units

Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
-
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; TNCC and ENPC preferred

Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency department experience required

Experience in high-volume, high-pressure trauma environments with diverse and severe cases required

Level 1 trauma center experience preferred

Large facility experience required; candidates limited to small or low-volume hospital experience will not be considered

Conditional compliance may be accepted for credentialing proven to be in process

Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases

Candidates must demonstrate proven success managing critical, fast-paced trauma situations

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as the travel rate
