Summary: Build member relations by exhibiting a helpful, positive attitude and promoting the restaurant and bar. Work as a team with other servers, always keeping the club's best interest in mind. Reports to the Food & Beverage Manager. $7.25/Hour + tips.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet members promptly & thank them upon departure.
Learn members' names and greet them by name.
Control the flow of service to meet member expectations.
Use Point of Sale (POS) system to correctly place orders and close checks promptly.
Make sure the member has what they need in front of them before they need the item (i.e. fork, knife, condiments, etc.) Anticipate member needs.
Practice good table maintenance by pre-busing tables and others throughout your shift.
Keep the working environment clean.
Menu knowledge and retention.
Complete assigned duties for opening and closing side work in a timely manner.
Charge checks to the appropriate member’s account.
Advise guests on menu and wine/cocktail choices using suggestive selling techniques.
Bartending experience is a plus!
Communication:
Inform management if we are low on an item.
Let management know immediately if there is a problem with a member.
Let someone know if you need help, if you are too busy to take a table, or to run your food and drinks.
- Creating custom member and guest experiences by delivering exceptional hospitality.
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization in the assigned workstations.
- Complete and comprehensive knowledge of the food & drink menu, including daily features and specials.
- Comply with all safety and health department procedures and state and federal liquor laws. Maintain Company Safety and Sanitation Standards.
