Sales Stockroom Associate (Part-Time)

The MilliporeSigma Discovery Solutions Sales Associate (SA) is responsible for collaboration and execution of all sales efforts within the assigned focus account(s). The SA serves as a front-line customer contact and supports the Business Development and Account Managers as outlined. The SA is responsible for supporting activities in the account, especially in line to support stockrooms initiatives with the Stockroom Business Development Manager, Account Manager and other available resources and personnel to meet or exceed all account sales objectives.
The SA is responsible for meeting or exceeding account sales goals. This includes meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales goals. This will be accomplished as part of a coordinated sales effort with the Business Development and Account Management teams.
The SA is central to supporting the stockrooms around the targeted accounts. This includes monitoring, moving, unpacking and restocking of products on a week-to-week basis. There is a requirement for lifting and moving boxes up to 25 or so pounds. The communication of status of the assigned duties will be critical. The SA will work closely with the Stockroom Business Development Manager and the respective Account Manager(s), Regional Manager(s), and Specialist (s) who will work as a team to determine and assign appropriate activities and opportunities for this position. The SA is also responsible for identifying, qualifying, and transferring leads and opportunities to the appropriate Account Manager and/or Specialist.
The SA is responsible for daily support and service related to sales activities in the assigned account and for promoting overall awareness and acting as a daily liaison between our customers and the company. The SA will manage appropriate sales and support activities necessary to maintain business in the assigned territory, including stocking programs. This position will also direct service issues to the appropriate corporate resource to assure resolution satisfactory to the affected customer(s).
The SA will complete all necessary administrative requirements based on established timelines. This will include, but is not limited to, maintaining necessary corporate databases, responding to and sending necessary communications by email and phone, attending all required meetings and teleconferences, and others as assigned by the NA Strategic Stockroom Manager.
EXPERIENCE: Typically graduate background with little professional experience. Non-graduate jobholders require a substantial amount of professional experience and additional qualifications that also provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts. EXPERIENCE: Typically reports to a Manager role, Project Manager role for a defined period of time based on organizational set-up (there is not necessarily a difference in role level between a manager and its direct reports - same level or lower level reporting is possible, provided job scope and responsibilities are clearly distinct); typically no direct reports. BS or AS degree and 1-2 yrs experience, or HS Diploma/equivalent and 5+ yrs experience
