Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred
JD or LLM credentials will be considered and are welcomed
At least 15 years of recent estate, gift, and trust tax experience with a law firm, an accounting firm, IRS/Treasury, and/or bank or corporation
990 experience preferred
Maintains in-depth knowledge of federal and state estate, gift, and trust tax regulations and statutes, including how situs impacts planning, compliance, and administration across jurisdictions
Ability to navigate complex estate planning scenarios
Knowledge of accounting and tax software
Highly motivated with the desire to grow and develop this practice area
Passion for helping clients with estate planning, compliance, and wealth transfer needs
Interest in building collaborative relationships, striving to find the best possible solutions
Ability to travel, as needed for client engagements (mostly local)
Willingness to participate in business development activities (guidance and training will be provided)
Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
