Job Description: As a powder Coater you are responsible for the preparation and coating of designated surfaces on fabricated parts ranging in sizes.
Responsibilities
Prepare parts for coating * Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application.
Operate all coating equipment.
Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
Determine coating quality by performing visual inspections.
Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations.
Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance.
Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout facility.
Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment.
Good knowledge of the mechanics and repair of powder coating equipment.
Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team
Must have a high attention to detail
Must be able to manage time efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of powder coating or other forms of paint
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, and pull. The employee will be required to lift 50+ pounds, and work at Elevation of 3 feet or greater.
