About the Role
As a Custom Shade and Canvas Assembler, you will play a vital role in transforming raw textiles and structural components into high-quality, durable outdoor solutions. You will utilize your technical skills in industrial sewing and precision fabrication to ensure every project meets rigorous standards for fit and finish.
Responsibilities-
Execute precise cutting and preparation of high-grade fabrics based on detailed project schematics.

Operate industrial sewing machinery to assemble, hem, and reinforce custom textile products.

Integrate hardware components such as zippers, grommets, and keder to ensure functional integrity.

Construct and assemble aluminum and steel framework systems to support finished fabric structures.

Perform final quality inspections to verify that all moving parts and tensioned surfaces are installation-ready.

Prepare comprehensive hardware kits and brackets to streamline the efficiency of field installation teams.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial sewing, upholstery, or custom fabrication.

Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and execute precise measurements.

Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using hand tools and shop equipment.

Demonstrated commitment to quality control and attention to detail in a production environment.

Direct experience working with marine canvas, vinyl, or specialized outdoor shade materials.

Familiarity with operating fabric welders, grommet presses, or similar industrial machinery.

Experience working with performance fabrics like acrylics or coated textiles.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain physical stamina during production tasks.
