The duties of the Water Equipment Operator are to perform skilled and unskilled maintenance work operating a variety of equipment in the construction repair maintenance and replacement of the City’s water distribution and sewer collection systems. This is an underground excavations position.

Required Knowledge of:
- Safety policies; procedures; and practices.

- Ability to read; comprehend; retain and apply City and State policies and legislation; ie; City ordinances; policy and procedures manuals; etc.
Required Skill in:

- Reading and interpreting maintenance and equipment manuals.

- Operating a variety of equipment including hand-tools; chain saws; mowers; weed eaters; etc.
