Review test requirements and plans, ensure there is a clear path to certification

Apply Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and related policies, standards and procedures to type certification.

Provide critical design review support

Provide off-site test support
Job Requirements:
-
Minimum of BS, in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
-
Test Pilot School Graduate
-
At least 5-years rotorcraft test experience
-
At least 200 hrs experimental flight test PIC
-
Experience must include basic stability, controllability, and performance testing to determine compliance with civil, military, or foreign standards.

Candidates must demonstrate possession of the knowledge and skills required for the work by meeting certain minimum flight hour requirements, including recency of flight experience. Only that flight experience that is directly related to the work of the position is required for purposes of establishing minimum eligibility.

Skill in flight testing rotorcraft with single piston engine, multiple piston engine, turboprop engines, and turbojet/turbofan engines as sole manipulator of the controls

Advanced skill in the use of computers with Windows-based operating environment

Strong customer service skills with the ability to ensure that a high level of service and quality is maintained

Travel within U.S. and E.U. (~50%)
