What You'll Do
Our Medical Assistants play an important role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting providers with patient care
- Preparing patients for examinations
- Obtaining and documenting vital signs and medical histories
- Performing routine clinical tasks within scope of practice
- Assisting with procedures
- Preparing examination rooms and maintaining clinical supplies
- Supporting providers and the clinical team throughout the patient visit
- Communicating professionally and compassionately with patients
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
- Following practice policies and clinical protocols
- Working collaboratively with providers, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
What We're Looking ForRequired:
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Professional, positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to patient privacy and quality patient care
Preferred:
- Previous OB/GYN or women's health experience
- Previous experience in a busy medical practice
- Spanish-speaking skills
- Experience with electronic medical records
