Precision Medical is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to track and audit inventory on site to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Perform goods receiving transactions, including physical count.
· Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in full annual physical inventory to identify discrepancies.
· Update inventory management system to maintain accurate records.
· Analyze usage and work with Materials Manager on materials ordered to avoid runouts.
· Organize warehouse storage for efficient retrieval and safety.
· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies (shortages, overages, damaged goods).
· Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory.
· Perform daily safety inspection of warehouse equipment.
· Certify and recertify employees on forklift training.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase accuracy and efficiency.
· Act as backup for shipping department as needed.
· Perform additional duties as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
· Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, inventory-related software, and handheld scanners.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED.
2 to 4 years of previous warehouse or logistics experience.
Forklift operator certification required; willingness and ability to complete a “train the trainer” course to teach other employees for forklift certification.
Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to alternate between sitting, standing and walking as needed.
Able to climb steps/ladders.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
