Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up concrete forms using blueprint schematics and schematics for accurate placement and dimensions
- Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and power tools efficiently to pour and spread concrete with precision
- Install rebar and metal stud framing to reinforce structures according to specifications
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and applying textures using hand tools and trowels
- Assist in masonry, stucco, plastering, and tile laying tasks as needed for comprehensive project completion
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely across construction sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure all work aligns with project plans and renovation standards
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete machinery
- Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical schematics
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping processes
- Proficient with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, saws, caulking guns, and other power tools used on-site
- Extensive construction site experience with a focus on commercial or renovation projects involving framing, masonry, roofing, and restoration
- Knowledge of metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall finishing techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of quality and safety compliance
