Description

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical First Assist for an 18-week acute care hospital OR position requiring CSFA and CST certification via NBSTSA.

Details

Work in an acute care hospital OR Certified First Assist unit
Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts and 40 guaranteed hours per week
Mandatory call coverage every 6th day from 730p-7a
Mandatory work shift every 6th Saturday from 7a-330p, followed by call coverage from 330p-7a
Mandatory call coverage every 6th Sunday from 7a-7a Monday morning
Uses Expanse - hCare EMR charting system

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) credential via NBSTSA
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential via NBSTSA
License required if applicable
Must reside within 100 miles of the facility
Unexpired driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

Assist the surgeon during operative procedures in the OR
Support surgical case preparation and execution as part of the surgical team
Cancellation policy allows for 2 shifts per 13-week contract
