Job Description – Taxi Dispatcher
Maintain an orderly flow of passengers and taxicabs and oversee the movement and expeditious loading of Taxis.- Prevent soliciting of customers.
- Maintain an orderly taxi line ensuring that all drivers are at the taxi stand line remain within the immediate proximity to their vehicles.
- Advise customers of rules and regulations pertinent to the trip including the correct fare and meter rates to their destination.
- Cooperate with Port Authority Police, Airport and/or PABT Supervisors and taxi commission agents in connections with the performance of the dispatcher duties provided herein.
- Be familiar with, adhere to and enforce Taxi and Limousine commission rules and regulations.
- When required issue Taxi Dispatcher program violation form against taxi drivers for violation of Taxi and Limousine commission rules and regulations.
- Gather incident information, documents, prepare and review reports as needed. Submit tour reports as required.
- Standing and walking up to 8 hours a day.
- Preform any other related responsibilities or duties as required by the contractor by the facility manager or his/her designee.
Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must have flexiable schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:

Possess a high school diploma, or a general equivalence diploma.

Customer Service Experience

1 year of similar work experience.
