Dental Hygenist - Sign On Bonus

Description
Our dental practice needs a Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team. We serve all demographics of the population, as well as English and Spanish speaking patients, from preschoolers to the elderly, and we operate a busy office. In addition to preventive care appointments and scheduled procedures, we accept walk-ins and take emergency calls. We accept both insurance and cash patients. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask and work well with others in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Review the daily schedules for hygiene patients with appropriate team member
- Accurately chart each patient’s periodontal health
- Perform prophylaxis, scaling root planning, debridement and selective polishing
- Take radiographs
- Apply Arrestin, fluoride and sealants
- Teach patients proper oral hygiene techniques
- Counsel patients on oral health
- Document pertinent observations and patient’s conditions and responses to recommendations for care.
- Clean and sterilize instruments
- Perform other tasks assigned by dentist.
Requirements
- Current RDH state license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent Verbal communication skills
- Great team player
- Willing to learn and grow
- Basic understanding of HIPAA and privacy rules.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a bonus
