We are hiring for a Security Officer! This motivated individual will be safeguarding major buildings, equipment, facilities or other property against unauthorized entry, damage or loss.
Schedule: Saturday & Sundays
Position: 1st shift 7:00am to 7:00pm
***May need to be able to train for a week on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift .
Responsibilities:
- Patrols the inside and outside of buildings, or designated areas and observes for prowlers, fires, illegally parked vehicles, or any other danger of loss or damage to property
- Enforces rules or regulations pertaining to the safeguarding of assigned facilities; makes rounds to ensure peace and adherence to code of conduct
Skills:
- MUST HAVE CLASS D SECURITY LICENSE
- MUST HAVE A VALID FLORIDA DRIVERS LICENSE
- Ability to prepare and maintain routine records and reports.
- Ability to walk long hours alone, both indoors and out, under varying work and climatic conditions.
- Ability to remain alert on evening and night shifts if assigned.
