The Regional Sales Director, Southeast is responsible for driving revenue growth and consistent sales activity across an assigned region. This hands-on selling and leadership role works with Clarus independent representative groups (“Partners”) and direct Clarus sales representatives to build the pipeline, develop relationships, close business, and achieve regional targets.
- Own regional revenue, orders, pipeline, and sales activity.

Collaborate with Partners and direct Clarus representatives to develop opportunities and close business across Corporate, Education, Government, and Healthcare markets.

Conduct monthly business reviews to evaluate performance, pipeline, CRM activity, quote follow-up, and action plans.

Set clear expectations, hold sales teams accountable, and address underperformance through direct, constructive conversations.

Travel throughout the region to work alongside sales teams, build relationships, deliver presentations, and help close strategic opportunities.

Develop relationships with dealers, architects and designers, general contractors, glaziers, subcontractors, and end users.

Serve as the liaison between the field and Clarus headquarters by sharing market feedback, managing expectations, and helping resolve issues.

Monitor regional accounts receivable and assist with the collection of outstanding balances.

Understand and negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.

Maintain accurate CRM activity and provide regular sales and pipeline reporting.

Deliver engaging product presentations and training to Partners, customers, and industry groups.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or sales leadership experience in the commercial interiors industry.

Experience may include commercial furniture, furniture dealerships, architecture and design, independent sales representation, direct manufacturer sales, or manufacturers’ representative organizations.

Established network of dealer, architecture and design, GC, and subcontractor relationships.

Proven ability to grow revenue, build a pipeline, negotiate effectively, and close complex opportunities.

Experience leading independent Partners or direct sales representatives and holding teams accountable for results is a plus.

Confident presenter who enjoys engaging with groups, leading training, and communicating product solutions.

Strong communication, relationship-building, business, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
This is a sales position working in an office/home office environment with frequent travel.
Occasionally lifting up to 25lbs.
This position is Director level and may have direct reports Including both direct sales reps and overseeing independent sales partners as determined by business needs.
