About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Harnessing / Electrical Technician to support the fabrication, assembly, installation, routing, and integration of electrical harnesses and electrical hardware for advanced aerospace systems.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position supporting the development of high-reliability hardware. The ideal candidate will have experience building electrical wire harnesses from engineering documentation, terminating connectors, routing cables, performing electrical assembly, and supporting prototype or production hardware builds.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical assembly, harness fabrication, installation, routing, and integration activities.
- Fabricate electrical cables and wire harnesses according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform wire preparation, stripping, crimping, connector termination, and cable management.
- Route, secure, and install wire harnesses within complex mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Install electrical hardware and associated components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot electrical installation, routing, and fit-up issues during assembly and integration.
- Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing using standard test equipment.
- Support prototype, engineering, test, and production hardware builds.
- Utilize standard electrical assembly tools while maintaining high quality and workmanship standards.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturing and quality procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with electrical wire harness fabrication.
- Experience with wire preparation, stripping, crimping, connector termination, and cable management.
- Experience installing and routing electrical harnesses.
- Ability to read and interpret:
- Electrical schematics
- Wiring diagrams
- Engineering drawings
- Assembly drawings
- Work instructions
- Experience with electrical/electronic hardware integration.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical installation, routing, and fit-up issues.
- Familiarity with standard electrical assembly tools and electrical test equipment.
- Experience supporting prototype, engineering, manufacturing, test, or production hardware.
- Ability to perform continuity checks and basic electrical troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with vacuum chamber systems.
- Experience working with furnace reactor systems.
- Aerospace, defense, satellite, avionics, or other high-reliability manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
