SUMMARY
Baker & Cakes are responsible for the overall operations for the back of house and kitchen area of our TOUS les JOURS Bakery Cafe. Primary responsibilities include making products that meet the company standards, preparing ingredients, and following proper food preparation techniques.
JOB DUTIES (include but are not limited to the following)
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for carrying out daily bread and pastry productions based on given quantity, including dough prepping, panning, filling making and preparing ingredients (Baker)
- Responsible for carrying out daily cake and dessert productions based on given quantity, including icing, decorating, and preparing ingredients (Cakes)
- Follows and completes daily production quantity and pre-orders as requested
- Ensure final products meet quality standards as designated by the company
- Receive incoming supplies, restock and organize based on FIFO system
- Maintain clean work station and follow company sanitation standards
- Knowledgeable on basic food safety rules and safe handling procedures based on CA Food Safety Regulations
- Utilize work hour efficiently and have great time management skills
- Be able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Able to follow directions provided by store or corporate leadership

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
