Job Summary:
Seeking hardworking, dependable Laborers to support our fabrication and production operations. This position assists welders, fitters, machine operators, and other skilled trades personnel with material handling, shop cleanup, equipment operation, and general production tasks. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-conscious, and willing to learn and grow within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the shop and yard.
- Support welders, fitters, and machine operators with production activities.
- Clean and prepare materials for fabrication and welding.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other basic shop equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory organization and material staging.
- Perform general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or industrial experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift experience or certification.
- Experience working in a fabrication shop, warehouse, or construction environment.
- Basic knowledge of measuring tools and material handling equipment.
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
