Petticoat Fair is a family-owned lingerie boutique that has been serving Austin since 1964, and we’re looking for a full-time Bra Fitting Specialist to join our team.
No bra-fitting experience is required — we provide extensive paid training.
This isn’t your typical retail sales job. Our fitters work one-on-one with customers to help them find bras, lingerie, and swimwear that truly fit. You’ll learn a specialized skill while helping customers feel comfortable, confident, and supported.

What You’ll Do
- Work one-on-one with customers in personalized bra-fitting appointments
- Learn professional bra-fitting techniques through extensive paid training
- Recommend bras, lingerie, swimwear, and other products based on each customer’s individual needs
- Create a comfortable, welcoming environment for customers of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds
- Build relationships with repeat customers and become someone they trust
- Stay knowledgeable about our products, brands, and fit
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming sales floor
- Work closely with your teammates in a busy, fast-paced boutique environment
What We’re Looking For
- Warm, friendly, and genuinely enjoys helping people
- Comfortable working closely with customers in a personal, one-on-one setting
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Confident communicating with many different personalities
- Able to learn and retain detailed product and fitting knowledge
- Team-oriented while also able to stay productive independently
- Available to work full shifts and most Saturdays
- Retail or customer-service experience is preferred, but lingerie experience is not required
We can teach you how to fit a bra. We’re looking for someone who already knows how to make people feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for.

Additional Details
- Full-time position
- This is a physically active job that involves standing for most of the shift and frequently moving between the sales floor and stockroom
- Reliable transportation required
