Job Summary
Join our team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicle systems. This is not an entry level position. You need at least 4 years of automotive mechanical / technical work experience with an automotive repair shop or dealer.
Duties
- Remove and reinstall various powertrain components, including transmissions, FWD transaxles, CVT's and transfer cases.
- Diagnose and repair powertrain components, primarily transmissions, and drivetrain systems.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical systems .
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs.
Skills
- Proven service technician experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the use of advanced diagnostic tools and interpreting schematics.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge across vehicle systems such as powertrains, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspension components.
- Experience with vehicle transmission system fluid changes.
- Familiarity with automotive wiring diagram interpretation and troubleshooting.
- Strong technical proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive electrical systems.
- a minimum of 4 years of automotive mechanic experience required.
- Pay is dependent on experience.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
