Now Hiring: Production Setup Technician
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay: $19-$20 per hour, depending on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm
Employment Type: Full time, trial to hire
About this Opportunity:
The role of the Production Setup Technician is foundation to the success of our Manufacturing Operations. This role is responsible for keeping a safe working environment, preparing and setting up various equipment and machines, troubleshooting issues, and following standard cleaning practices. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. With the supervision of the Production Supervisor the Production Setup Technician strives to maintain working production equipment, supports the line changeovers, and properly calibrates the machines for optimal performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Must follow all Safety Guidelines and Protocols—safety is #1!
Responsible for following Work Order instructions while being GMP compliant
Document procedures to stay within compliance
Have all necessary production lines push button ready at start of shift each day to include having line(s) for second shift run ready
Perform maintenance tasks according to production needs to minimize downtime
Ensure all parts to repair equipment is identified and escalated to Production Supervisor/VP of Operations to ensure arrival date to meet scheduling/customer demands
Perform maintenance operations using the tools and equipment of several trades, such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, electronics, machinist welding, etc.
Develop and perform routine and scheduled maintenance procedures
Install and align new equipment when purchased

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 3 years work experience in industrial maintenance
Experience with Liquid filling machines.
Experience with Tube filling machines
Experience with Hot fill machines
Experience with Lot Coders and labeler machines
Ability to read and understand equipment manuals
Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, water machines
Experience in 5S
