Job Description:
Our busy, three doctor, small animal veterinary practice is looking for an LVT to join our supportive team. This is a full-time position with 35–40 hour weeks and Saturday morning rotations. No evening or on-call hours.

The recently remodeled practice is in the quaint village of Elmira Heights, and the cozy, home setting has new, state-of-the-art veterinary equipment to offer the best quality of care.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Proficiency in all aspects of triage, treatments, laboratory, surgery, radiology, and dentistry
· Ability to make quick and sound decisions
· Ability to process lab work in house and prepare samples/paperwork for out of hospital lab specimens
· Experience in surgical pre-op, post-op, anesthetic monitoring, ability to prepare surgical packs, calculate dosages and administer medications, gather patient history, administer vaccines, collect blood and urine samples, operate lab equipment, take radiographs including dental radiographs
· Ability to work well both on a team and independently
· Great client communication skills both in person and over the phone
· Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person for our team!
Compensation:
Pay commensurate with experience ($25-$27 per hour) and we additionally offer:
