Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, to ensure timely delivery of freight across diverse routes. Your expertise in handling hazardous materials, managing logistics cargo, and navigating over-the-road (OTR) routes will be essential to maintaining our high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across OTR routes
- Load and unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo and hazardous materials in accordance with hazardous materials regulations
- Transport goods safely over long distances while adhering to all safety protocols related to dangerous goods and hazardous materials regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in line with DOT regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route adjustments or address delivery issues promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the type of vehicle operated (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker)
- Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety procedures for truck driving
- Experience handling different types of freight such as freight containers, hazardous goods, flatbed loads, tanker loads or refrigerated cargo
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks and equipment such as forklifts when necessary for load & unload operations
- Strong understanding of GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient OTR routes
- Physical ability to manually handle cargo loading/unloading tasks safely and efficiently
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance

Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,800.00 per week
