Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards, ensuring quality and presentation are top-notch
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including plating, garnishing, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Provide attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Set up banquet halls or catering events, including arranging tables, serving stations, and ensuring all supplies are ready for service
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining hygiene standards at all times
- Support barista duties when needed by preparing coffee, tea, or specialty drinks for guests
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment to ensure a safe and inviting environment
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining or high-end food service environments is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Experience serving in restaurants, catering events, or banquet settings is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests effectively
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation adds value to your candidacy
- Hospitality background with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences is a plus
