Job Title: Quality Inspector/Administrator
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports To: Manager – Quality Assurance
Wage Range $20 - $25 / hr. depending on experience
Under the direction of the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector/Administrator monitors, conducts and maintains essential Quality Department functions. Performs in-process inspections (torque witness, electrical crimp connectors, etc.). Performs final inspection of completed products and sub-assemblies. Maintains all quality-related documentation by processing, filing, and/or creating documentation. Responsible for maintaining the document control and process alert systems as well as other tasks deemed vital to improving the satisfaction of Paragon Products' customers.

Perform in-process and final inspections for both mechanical and electrical assemblies.

Maintain the Documentation Control System.

Assist in maintaining the Process Alert System.

Assist in mechanical receiving inspection.

Assist in the Internal Audit System by:

Performing quality audits.

Maintaining audit records.
-
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Record quality tags into Microsoft Access.

Sort parts for quality issues.
This position offers growth opportunities through active participation in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality systems and process optimization. The role supports professional development in areas such as root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and Lean methodologies. Basic understanding of quality control principles and inspection techniques.

Familiarity with mechanical and/or electrical components preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.

Basic knowledge of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) is an asset.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications is a plus.
