Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active license in Speech-Language Pathology in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in early childhood and elementary settings
- Familiarity with a range of student needs, from moderate to profound
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to individual student requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate student records and document progress towards IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer guidance and resources to families and school staff regarding speech and language development
