QUALIFICATIONS:
- Students With Disabilities Generalist 7-12
- Students With Disabilities Generalist 5-9
- Special Education K-12
- Students With Disabilities Birth - 2
- Students With Disabilities Grades 1-6
- Students With Disabilities 7-8 Generalist
DUTIES:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with NYS and Federal regulations
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Participate in CSE (Committee on Special Education) meetings and contribute to evaluations.
- Implement behavior management strategies and support positive student outcomes
- Modify curriculum, materials, and assessments as needed
- Ensure compliance with testing accommodations and state mandates
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
