Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Retail Sales Manager. In this position, you will oversee daily store operations independently and proactively, manage sales staff along with all merchandising and inventory control, all while delivering an outstanding customer experience. Duties
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management.
- Implement sales strategies, merchandising plans, and promotional activities.
- Oversee inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and ensure high levels of customer service.
- Coordinate purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and stock management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Hire, train and lead the retail sales team.
- Utilize management skills to oversee shift scheduling, supervise cashiering activities, and maintain operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, including managing store operations.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and retail math principles.
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and stock control procedures.
- Ability to handle cash accurately while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
