Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming experience and smooth operation of front desk functions. This role requires excellent customer service skills, hospitality management knowledge, and the ability to handle guest inquiries efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and support our resort environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide exceptional guest services, addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using hotel management software
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Support night audit procedures as needed to ensure financial accuracy at the end of shifts
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure effective communication with guests and staff
- Assist in managing guest relations to foster a positive experience throughout their stay
Skills
- Proven experience in customer service. Experience with hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse guests effectively
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of guest services, reservations, and front desk procedures in a resort setting
- Ability to handle night audit responsibilities when required
- Exceptional phone etiquette and professionalism in all interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests and team members
