Join our family-owned donut shop that has been in operations for over 30+ years. We are hiring a General Team Member/ Cashier. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face that customers see first, providing exceptional service while assisting with food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient store. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit
- Operate POS systems process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Prepare donuts and other food items (i.e. Kolaches) following safety and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the store, including food handling, bussing tables, and kitchen areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Assist with food safety procedures and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations
- Support team members in food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick service delivery during busy hours
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments required. Donut shop experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Background in retail math, basic math skills, and cash handling enhances efficiency in cashiering roles
- Culinary experience or restaurant experience helps in understanding food safety standards and kitchen operations
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in fast-paced environments such as grocery stores or retail outlets is advantageous
HOURS:
Wednesday - Monday 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
