Position Overview: This role is ideal for a seasoned pet professional with prior experience in a grooming salon or pet facility. The position offers an hourly base pay (depending on experience), plus tips and bonuses, with the potential for advancement into our paid groomer training program.

(25-30 hours per week to start)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year working with pets in a professional setting (grooming salon, boarding, daycare, or vet).
- Customer Service: At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Skills: Able to work with dogs of all sizes and breeds; must be friendly and outgoing.
- Availability: Must be available from 7:45 AM to 5 PM on scheduled days, Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays.
- Reliability: Strong references and reliable transportation to travel between both of our locations.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, climbing, and working at a fast pace for extended periods.
- Team Player: Ability to work well within a team, organized, efficient, and able to multi-task and prioritize.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to our processes.
- Availability for full 8-5 shifts and continued availability year round. Mondays-Wed-Saturday availability required.
Responsibilities:
- Washing and drying pets.
- Cleaning ears, trimming nails, and brushing pets.
- Assisting with check-ins and check-outs.
- Supporting groomers with clean-up, handling pets, and taking pictures for social media.
- Able to assist in checking in/out pets.
- Maintaining tools and product inventory.
- Scheduling bookings and ensuring all vaccinations and information are properly documented.
- Keeping grooming and bathing areas clean.
- Offering upgrades and selling additional services based on customer needs.
Qualifications:
- We require at least 1 year of experience working with dogs in a professional setting. (Vet office, kennel/daycare, or grooming facility is required)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have good time management skills.
- Works well in team environments.
- Detail-oriented yet able to work with a sense of urgency while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enjoys problem-solving to provide a top-notch spa experience for our guests.
- Ability to handle various sizes and breeds of dogs.
- Adaptable to instructions, change, and new training material.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Hourly pay range: $11-14 per hour, based on experience, plus tips and bonuses.
